New PPM looks brutal for Rock 103. I also see lots on Facebook regarding RMH and a Bad Dog fund raiser but no mention of Rock 103's involvement. What up with that?
 
RMH moved to Cumulus....98.1 The Max and 98.9 News Talk did it this year. There were some events associated with Bad Dog's name, in honor of his wishes...heck, all his old co-workers at Rock 103 are at The Max, and Bev Hart is on the news-talk station.
 
I heard Paula the OM is getting a "promotion" to San Antonio (I guess its for all the good work she has done turning around Rock 103 Radio Now, WDIA and WREC). Its certainly a crazy company where good people get shown the door and others get promoted. She must have a good friend in Texas who warned her to jump a sinking ship before it was too late.
 
Sad to see what has happened with Rock 103. Save for the "Z-103" debacle in the mid '80s, they were usually fairly dependable as a "rock" station, while 98 had name changes almost every year there for a while: O-98, Rock 98, The Lion Rock 98, Z-98, Target 98, Star 98, etc.
