I'm constantly hunting for the ideal pop filter, isolation mount combo, for my Audio Technica AT-2035 microphones, which are being used in our radio broadcast studios. I have been using this particular mic when replacing older Shure SM7B's and RE20's, that need rebuilding, or replacing. I really like this mic a lot. I just haven't yet found the perfect pop filter combo for it, to control P popping, so I continue to experiment (when I get a chance, I will soon post a picture of what I have come up with so far). The Audio Technica provided isolation mount for this particular mic is fantastic, but I'm looking for other combos that permit typical radio broadcast up close miking techniques, without allowing P popping, but also not taking away too much of the upper high end frequency response of the mic itself. IMO, the big foam filter, that AT recommends for this mic, provides too much coloration, in the upper high end. I don't like to use the 80 hz rolloff filter either. I'm guess whichever isolation mount that Don LaFontaine (RIP) is using in that picture, possibly only comes with the pictured mic.
