Can LeBron Beat Hannity?

A pre-recorded interview with soon-to-be-NBA free agent LeBron James with CNN's Larry King is scheduled to air this Friday. And so far, it's been making the rounds in the press, based on certain comments that were released to promote the interview:

Obviously, Larry King's ratings have seen better days. Sean Hannity on Fox News regularly cleans his clock, as well as Rachel Maddow on MSNBC, but does anyone think "the LeBron factor" could, at least for one night, help Larry King triumph against Sean Hannity on Friday night?

The good Herr Dr Goebbels once said that if something is repeated often enough, people will believe it as the truth. This kid's name has been worn out for the past few years. Even Charles Barkley commented that he was sick of hearing that kid's name from every single sports commentor every other minute. If he's so great, why can't he make to the finals? Who really cares except those false idol worshipers?

One thing is for certain: Larry could possibly get the best 18-34 demo rating ever!

Well, the cable news ratings for Friday night are out, and... as predicted... LeBron took Rachel Maddow to the house, 944,000 viewers of Larry King to Rachel's 869,000. Hannity had 1.7 million viewers. Joy Behar just a thousand shy of 600,000.

(Granted, the shows were in the same order the night before, when President Obama was Larry's guest... the ratings for all the shows were higher, as well... which, I guess, answers the question: Can LeBron beat Barack?)
