Can Lisa Carberg be the ratings saviour?

WVIT-TV actually does fairly well at 11 PM. They've beaten WFSB-TV there several times in the last 5 years.

There is more to tv than the 11PM, which is driven by prime time. In the Hartford-New Haven market whoever wins prime, wins the 11PM.

The 5-6:30PM slot is not good for WVIT. They are dead last. Can the new team change that?

Carberg is suffering from the Keisha Grant syndrome...way too hyper and trying too hard. She seems like shes on an o.d. of caffeine...

WVIT needs PRODUCT. Which means getting SEASONED journalists...not a bunch of posing (i.e. Tarantal) twenty-somethings that dont know tough journalism. There is virtually nothing on VIT that isnt in the Courant. Nothing all that interesting...Drazen is about the brightest guy in that newsroom next to Brooks and they just stick him in the anchor chair. He's got the old Brooks goofy mindset that is very entertaining...too bad the Marty McGillicuddies running that station have no sense of that.

The demographics (target audience) have WVIT #1 at 6 AM, 6 PM and 11 PM in November. It was in the Courant last month.
