Can someone explain how this happened?

Given that it is a scripted show that was probably finished several weeks if not months ago, my guess is the show's producers changed the song for some reason late in the episode's life (probably rights/royalty reasons), and failed to inform the team that had done the captions.
 
I'm watching 9-1-1: Lonestar on FOX with the Closed Captioning turned on. During the first scene the song playing was "I Want to be Sedated" by The Ramones, but the Closed Captioning was for "I Fought the Law" by The Clash. How did this happen?



Not sure but somehow the captions must have picked up the wrong song
