Karl was a
Donald Segretti protege. In 1973, during the height of Watergate, he went around the country teaching young Republicans the art of dirty tricks. He may have been publicly reprimanded by the Republican party, but privately he was rewarded and appointed the youth minister to the dirty tricksters.
