fill me in on what Atlanta station Big D and Bubba are on? I have never heard the show or even heard of them to be honest but they seem to garner a good bit of discussion on this board.
 
Big D and Bubba are on 94.9 The Bull. They are syndicated out of Nashville. They do "localize" their show for the Atlanta matket, and I must admit, do a pretty good job at doing that. The show they do for the Bull is heavy on music, and the guys don't go overboard with the constant talking. I believe they run from 5-8 or 8:30 AM.

No wonder I had not heard of them. Another canned syndicated programming by a CC affiliate. So typical. So disappointing.

I too was dissapointed when I heard they were going with a syndicated show for mornings, however, after giving them a try I must say, they aren't that bad. Like I said before, their show does seem,at times, live because they periodically give the excact time out. Even heard them talking about the Braves game the night before, including the score of the game and Andruw's walk off HR. They may not be local, but they are doing a good job in trying to make it sound like it. When I heard Big D and Bubba were going to be on the Bull, my first thoughts were, oh no, another John Boy and Billy (96rock), but I have been pleasantlt suprised.
