Can we unpin a few things?

The old frequencies of the week and the post your dx thread. they clog up the feed and the first page of this group

In general, we try to unpin FOTW threads after they've run for two weeks, Sometimes leaving them up for an extra week or so if they're showing recent significant activity. This is the format we agreed to when the question was put to you gentlemen last year.

That said, I would ask each of you to let me know if you see any FOTW threads that I may have overlooked or otherwise you feel should be locked, unpinned or deleted.

I have been undergoing successful treatment for vision issues in both eyes for the past three months. And as of this week, my vision in my right eye is now fully back to a complete 20-20 normal. One more surgery to come to fully correct the left eye. Bottom line is this is now the perfect time to let me know of anything that should be cleaned up. I'm now feeling and seeing MUCH better.

Thanks for your understanding and any other input you may wish to share.

Glad to hear that the eye surgery is working!

I'm fine with present practices and see no reason to change. Just my opinion, of course.

Some posts are like those zombie recurrents/oldies that test well nationally, yet for whatever reason, fall flat locally.

I think he's trying to say @cyberdad when you lock a FOTW thread, Unpin it also, So it won't clog up the space
We're operating under a format that basically met with consensus last year. But if there's broad consensus that we revisit locking an unpinning simultaneously, I would be willing to take a look at that. I would also like to get David Eduardo's thoughts. As well as input from others on this. After all, there were reasons for creating that which we are currently using. Frankly, I'm more or less neutral on the question.
