Hindsight being 20/20, Stern had a sugar high after the Buzzard Morning Zoo signed off, and a lot of those listeners went to NCX for a brief spell.

They sampled Uncle Howard, some stayed, some switched to Lanigan, Lanigan got a bump, and pretty much maintained it until he hung up the mic.
