Indeed, not that bad distortion wise compared to what you can hear on-air, but it's got that flat thump sound of being pushed too hard....

Sorry, but Goran's DSPX Mini FM SE barefoot sounds better then this does, hands down!

I'd be interested to hear the Mini with an analog Arianne in front of it. Bet it would honk!

Isn't the Mini with the Ariane in front of it simply the stock DSP-X?

No. The limiter algorithms, the crossover and a few other things are completely different in the current mini (SE) than in the X and the Xtra...

Hey
Just wanted to jump in, I just installed 2 of the BW DSP-X processors and I have to say for the price, these are very amazing boxes. Their web interface works well also.

Webinterface?

Yes, they provide software that allows you to view the processor as a web page (except for the Mini). The graphics are quite nice and well thought out. It is much easier to use than squinting at the processor's LCD menu screen. I have found it is a very handy feature, allowing me to set the processor from the comfort of our control room, while listening to what I'm doing on our studio monitor speakers.

Are you talking about the remote control software? Because that's not a webinterface like the latest omnia's provide.

HTML5 web remote for the DSPX range is with R&D. It looks as slick as our much loved windows application. Expect the free update for it this summer. :)

Hi Scott looking forward to the update and nice to see BW is still working on improving the DSPX range. Perhaps premature but will the update also update anything for the processing path? And if you need any beta testing let me know.
