Canadian AC Stations

I used to hate AC radio stations. But now that I like radio (since '03), I got back to listening to AC radio stations, except for CFQR-FM (Q92) Montreal.

Here's a theory of my Canadian ACs I've listened to:

97.3 EZ Rock (CJEZ-FM) Toronto: A well-put AC station. I enjoy the soft AC music, and plays more currents. An even better soft AC playlist. I like their jingles that are similar to Q92, but I like EZ Rock's jingles better than Q92 instead. I live in Q92's area, but I still hate Q92.
98.1 CHFI Toronto: Have they tweaked back to soft AC since Jay & Billie's departure. Anyways, I still like it, but not as much as 97.3 EZ Rock anymore. I used to like this more than 97.3 EZ Rock, but 97.3 EZ Rock, IMO, is the best AC in Canada.
Rock Detente 107,3 (CITE-FM) Montreal: I'm so sick of the Montreal AC stations. They'd lean CHR, just like what Q92 did. They even play Inner Circle's "Sweat (A La La La La Long)."
105,7 Rhythme FM (CFGL-FM) Montreal: Sick of it too. They even play hot AC artists such as Ben Harper, Jem, etc., and they're nearly a hot AC.
Q92 (CFQR-FM) Montreal: I've never liked this AC station. I was tired of their CHR lean prior to '03, 'cuz they would play:

*NSYNC - Bye, Bye, Bye
JENNIFER LOPEZ - Love Don't Cost A Thing
MAXI PRIEST feat SHAGGY - That Girl
JANET JACKSON - All For You
JANET JACKSON - Someone To Call My Lover

And other tunes.

But they still play some CHR tunes, such as:

CHRISTINA AGUILERA - Genie In A Bottle
JENNIFER LOPEZ - If You Had My Love
NO MERCY - Where Do You Go?
SHAGGY - Angel (Which most Canadian ACs play)

They're soft AC, BTW, and they've abandoned Leann Rimes, Faith Hill & Martina McBride off its playlist since '03, plus the CHR lean. Hopefully, I still hate Q92, 'cuz of their imaging, and the soft AC-only music I can't stand, just on Q92. My most-hated AC station in the world. Plus, I can't stand the AT10 countdown they'll always leave alone there.
CIME-FM Emotion Rock 103,9 Montreal:
Too much CHR leaning content in there. BTW, this station sucks bigtime.
98,5 FM (CHMP-FM) Montreal:
Overflowing the AC music with NEWS-TALK?! Montreal ACs are boring, and so is Montreal radio.
Majic 100 (CJMJ-FM) Ottawa:
I like this too. It's the same as 97.3 EZ Rock, with a AAA lean instead of CHR. They also lean '80s too. A cool AC station, even if they run the AT20 instead of the AT10. AT20 is the hot AC countdown, while the AT10 is the AC countdown.
Rock Detente 94,9 (CIMF-FM) Gatineau:
Nothing to say about it. I didn't listen to it much, although you think you can compare it with CITE-FM.
Variety 104 (CFLG-FM) Cornwall:
Too much CHR-leaning content there, just like sister Q92. It still sucks.
104-9 JRfm Brockville:
Similar to Majic 100, but softer. I didn't listen to it much, though.
98-3 Fly FM Kingston:
A well-put AC, plus they lean '80s, like Majic 100. Similar to Majic 100, though.
The New CHAY 93.1 Barrie:
Not as awful as Q92 Montreal, but no U.S. country, just like Q92. Both The New CHAY & Q92 are co-owned. I didn't listen to it much, though.
105.7 EZ Rock St. Catharines/Niagara Falls/Buffalo:
Even the same as Majic 100, I still like EZ Rock. The EZ Rock network is my fave of the ACs.
102.9 K-Lite FM Hamilton:
Even softer than 97.3 EZ Rock in T-Dot. If you ask me, they lean more retro than sister EZ Rock.
Q97.5 EZ Rock London:
Aha! It's the same as 97.3 EZ Rock, but it's musically the same, and it's the sister company. I've listened to it before.

I'm not a big Q97.5 fan. For AC, I prefer the soft AC of Easy 101, CKOT-FM Tillsonburg. Quite a few good oldies songs in there too, and a lot of instrumental versions of well-known hits. Sometimes you might hear a TV theme in there too. They played the Theme from ER once, and I have heard one instrumental piece that I have also heard used as background music for a community calendar on TV.

This is ludicrous! Do you even know what the difference between a Soft AC and a Mainstream AC? Those CHR tunes you talk about... do you know anything about target demos? Majic 100 leans AAA? What are you smoking?
