Canadian interference on Thu morning

Last Thursday, there was a strong signal from CFRA 580 Ottawa heard quite well from 5 to 7am in Worcester. Many callers to the WTAG morning show complained about it, and host Hank Stolz actually called up CFRA and put their host on the air (after being hung up on by the newsroom the first time he called.)

What a coincidence! A few days earlier, WEZE-AM 590 in Boston was off-the-air in the early morning hours, and WTAG-AM was very audible in the immediate Boston area, almost interference-free! This isn't the only instance of "improper" Canadian interference...WKOX-AM 1200 is blasted by a Canadian sports station on the same frequency every night (it must be worse for the 1200 in Syracuse).
