AB Calgary 770 CHQR Establish a nested repeater on 106.9 with 1,000 watts (Corus did not provide any financial justification or demonstrate how severe technical limitations are causing a problem with the existing signal on 770. The common ownership policy also was a factor in the decision)

AB Calgary The following applicants lost out to The Jim Pattison Broadcast Group and The Multicultural Broadcasting Corporation in the CRTC's competetive process with their bids for new stations in Calgary.

ON Collingwood 102.9 CFMO-cp Locate at 102.9 with 9,370 watts (23,000 watts Max. ERP) (previously approved but applied frequency of 104.9 was not available)
ON Dryden 104.5 CKQV-1 Move to 104.3 (all other technical parameters will remain unchanged)
ON Georgina Island 102.7 CFGI Move to 92.3 and increase power from 250 watts to 650 watts (Avg. & Max. ERP)
ON Sudbury 92.7 CJRQ Change the polarization of the antenna from horizontal to circular and combine CJRQ with CJMX 105.3 Sudbury into one single antenna system

PROPOSED PROGRAMMING FEED CHANGES
ON Kenora 104.5 CKQV-2 Relocate the studios and offices of CKQV 103.3 from Vermilion Bay to Kenora. This will result in CKQV-2 104.5 Kenora becomming the mother station while Vermilion Bay would become a rebroadcaster.

APPLICATION WITHDRAWN
ON Clarence-Rockland 92.5 300 watts (AC) (Evanov) (interventions have been received and the application will be rescheduled at a later date)
