Cancellation Predictions

I think viewing teams are safe for now. I saw about 5 min of Cavemen tonight - it was tedious.

You beat my by one minute. I don't think it will make it back next week. Cavemen needs to be extinct!

I should clarify that I watched that much of the show because I was feeding my kid and couldn't get to the remote until he finished his bottle. Otherwise it would have been gone in 10 seconds.

So far, I haven't read anything about ABC canning it, so who knows, maybe it lives to see another week. It's not like ABC has a lot of bench strength at this point. What do they do, pull out According to Jim already?

I'd joke that they could drag out the Dancing With the Stars results to two hours, but they just might do that.

Dragging the past-its-prime George Lopez show back for another year would have been better than Cavemen.

Here's the question I really wonder about: for someone to have said "Yes" to Cavemen, how bad must the other pilots have been?

I can't think of anything I even watch on ABC anymore.
None of their new shows look good and most of the returning ones are awful, save for Lost, which is better on DVD.
Why does ABC even try with these "comedies" anymore?

I never saw the series (I never cared about those cavemen in the ads), but if the reaction is any indication, it looks like "My Mother The Car" will soon become the second-worst TV series.

Homeboys in Outer Space and Secret Life of Desmond Pfieffer (or whatever it was called, my mind is blank) both could have been marginally worse than Cavemen, or at least tied at the bottom of the heap.

Again, "Cane" as well as be not able it is unwatchable.

I think the networks should consider going to a "On Demand" service, and let us
decide what is best for the viewer.

An interesting proposition, but where do the $$$ come from to put all that content up for the viewers to pick from?

Because I do not want my television viewing habits dictated by a bunch of people who watch it via the internet. That's one right there.

Journeyman tied for 48th last week but the prognosis
isn't good; Back To You tied for 62nd. Add the CW's
Life Is Wild (116th).
