Cancelled Fox show gets memorial

Back to the original post, "Back To You" had a lot of inside jokes that those of us in TV news would understand. A lot of the jokes probably didn't connect with regular viewers. I noticed this when watching the pilot (I didn't watch any episodes beyond that). The strike probably hurt any chance for the show to build an audience anyway.

"I'm suprised NBC didn't try to pick it up for Thursdays, because its PERFECT..."

I've got to disagree with that. Maybe it would have been perfect on the NBC Thursday night of 5 to 20 years ago, but not now. My Name is Earl, The Office and 30 Rock are offbeat cutting edge comedies. Now that Scrubs is gone, they should replace it with something similarly offbeat. If you want to bring in a dead Fox show, bring back Arrested Development.

Now I can see putting Back to You on CBS Monday nights. That would fit.
