Candlepins for kids on TV.

For years, actually more like decades, I watched candlepin bowling on Channel 5 at noon on Saturdays. I wish they'd bring that back. Of course there probably aren't a lot of bowling leagues around anymore to draw from. I can remember watching some great matches that had me(at least) on the edge of my seat. The legendary Don Gillis hosted it for years. I vaguely remember Ed Harding also hosting a bowling show on Channel 5.

I live in FL but I love candlepins. I did a couple of flights to NH (cheaper than Boston) just to play.

I miss the live show that CN8 used to have online a few years back. Now all I have is YouTube clips of the past. I do have video that someone sent me from New England.

If there is any online show similar to CN8's, for goodness' sake, let me know! :)

Wait, did this show already air? Was it last Saturday, or this Saturday? I'm not seeing it on NESN's lineup.

It was on Saturday the 8th. My DirecTV EPG had it. It's supposed to be weekly.

Me too Art. I'd LOVE for it to be back. Both WCVB and WNDS had good shows. I even liked Bob Gamere on channel 7. Always a laugh.
