Candy Crush...worst game show ever?

I have a good friend who's GM at a larger CBS affiliate. Apparently the station has been swamped with angry viewer calls and E-mail complaining about the show. CBS is forcing them to carry the show as part of the affiliate agreement.

What have the complaints been?
 
Really people still complain to the local station no station is going to take a show off the air just because someone doesn't like it. I get venting about it online wouldn't ever complain to the local station since they can't take a show off the air.

Yes and no. Affiliates can report complaints to the networks. Whether the network actually listens is another topic. In this case, it is just a summer fill or replacement, and opinions perhaps have more impact. I don't predict this show will go beyond that.

Sounds like the same things said about the app.....
 
It will be cancelled by next month, my prediction. I change CBS as soon as the nomination ceremony ends on Sunday's 'Big Brother' episode. I could just watch BB After Dark on Pop and pay $6 for the live feeds, but I'm a poor man ;)
 
That show is ending soon enough. Mario Lopez will be in around New Britain, CT here to film the Lifetime movie "Christmas Hours" with Melissa Joan Hart. He'll be at a downtown toy store, City Hall and Central Connecticut State University (CCSU).

IN the days pre-internet I can remember in radio just one complaint equals to someone being taken off the air. I still remember the overnight Saturday morning jock who lisped his way pretty much through his air shift. By 7 am Saturday morning thanks to one complaint he was off the air. That was in 1993. Of course today it's different.
 
I knew it would die an early death. Candy Crush, you will be forgotten. I'm not even watching Big Brother that much either. No one to really root for anymore -- the houseguests are following Paul wherever he goes...they follow his 'rules' and will practically give him $500K on a silver platter. It all started with the stupid 'friendship bracelets' on premiere night...in which Paul gave them to eight fellow houseguests. Anyone who dares speak out is evicted. Then there's annoying pot and pan banging Josh to deal with too. Ugh! Note to Allison Grodner: NEVER cast veterans!
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't summer replacements exist not only to "fill", but to test them out as possible regular series? Atleast this is the way it used to be. Maybe things have changed...
