According to allaccess Nassau now owns the three Cape Cod stations, 93.5,101.1 & 102.9. Does anyone think they'll end up with 104.7 & 107.5? They could keep the classical & hook it up with their Quadcast W-BACH stations up in Maine. One of the rock stations could become classic hits Frank FM.

I don't know what's planned for the Cape, but I will say that Nassau Broadcasting is far and away one of the best broadcasting companies I've ever had the pleasure to work for. The on-air and production facilities are the best I've ever used. The management was friendly and always available when I needed something. Everyone simply enjoyed coming to work.

Sounds like they've already messed with 93.5/101.1 The Wave. It sounds more like a classic rocker than B101! There are disco and what I'd consider regular oldies songs mixed in, but wow. I thought 101.9 and 104.7 has classic rock/hits covered down there.....I guess not. The Cape Cod Doo Wop show appears to be hisory, as I didn't hear it tonight.

Perhaps they're planning to Frank it?

Actually, considering the constant success of WCTK on the Cape, I would have thought that Nassau would go that route.

Do you mean WXTK?

I think 101.9 isn't really a traditional classic rocker ... it's more of a tailored fit for the Cape Cod audience which works well. And 104.7 lacks the energy or playlist to care too much about at this point. Their ratings seem pretty down these days.

Sponser-wise, do you think it's better to simulcast 93.5/101.1 or seperate them and have them serve two different demos? I'm still not sure ... especially because Qantum has 4 different stations and, for now at least, Nassau really just has two.
