Madisonians may not know the name Larry Goodman, but many will remember Charlie "Rock 'n' Roll" Simon, who spun records on WISM/AM for a decade starting in 1972. I caught up with Goodman, now a radio sales exec in San Diego, a couple of years ago when he swapped a piece of Otis Redding's airplane to the Hard Rock Cafe in Las Vegas for a guitar signed by Paul McCartney. ...
