You won't hear these artists on commercial radio nowadays, but you may if you tune in to the
<u>"Lost & Found"</u> show block weekdays 12 noon - 2 PM ET on the non-commercial volunteer community/college station from MIT
<u>WMBR 88.1 FM</u> Cambridge, MA.
88.1 FM in greater Boston, and a choice of three web streams on their site.
This show plays obscurities of all genres from the entire 1960's through the mid-70's with different DJ's who specialize in different styles each weekday. I used to host a weeeky show on this block from 1982 until 2004 which focused on the late 60's "FM Underground Radio" era, and I played Beefheart, Zappa and The Fugs.
(I "retired" from the show because I can no longer afford to devote the time to volunteer radio in today's economy).
