I suppose the Paul Gonzalez fans may not be very happy about this... I just got the following email moments ago from Matt Bruce - or should I say, Captain Matt Bruce... Anyway, this must be the only person I know whose signature is a hell of a lot longer than the body of the email! Aye aye, here is the email, mateys:

This is definitely redder than red meat for the people who think 970 is too liberal. However, it's a little dry as far as red meat goes.

Is this show brokered? Was Markowski's? Hard to believe they weren't, especially since the shows LOST half an hour for an infomercial...
 
First of all THANKS for the 260,000+ visitors to the radio show website last week! Secondly THANKS for the hundreds of emails received, some of which I will read on the air Monday. What exactly does "Permanent Fixture" mean in regard to WWBA?

A month? Two months? Six?

With no offense to this "Captain" fella, the Genesis crowd isn't know for committing to talent in the long run, lest they be brokered or are selling the spot time during their show and giving it over to the company after taking a small cut.
 
Let's see, The tea baggers had a BIG show in Tampa a few weeks ago and spent BIG bucks on media to promote it. (Oh nobody came and they lost their ass). Becks shows ratings are trending down and this Captain guy thinks he's on top of the world because he sucked up to our Martian Governor?
 
Cool. With the exception of Michael Savage, Captain's America has way more information on his show than ALL OTHER shows on WWBA combined. I think the morning show on WWBA is attempting to piggy-back on the PM drive time show. Unless "Reeves" has a pre-planned-click with the mouse button on the ABC site(s), his show is similar to the parody that "Imus in the morning" uses on TanTalk..."...but what's your brand?...but, we're having fun..." and with Vercher [research pending with Donaghy's lawyer response(s)], , NEVER cites her "sources," and is now attempting to enter into her opinion on the economy- complete with becoming her own worst enemy; a bumper sticker response. (I wonder if she is in on the class action lawsuit against the Huffington Post?) oh joy, they now have a "entertainment" spot on Friday's now. "Stop the insanity!"

As far as the "red meat" commentors; the Captains America show has a cornicopeia (sp?) of information, not just the Adkins Diet. and FLA too liberal?? No, they are the pure "red meaters," well just Jack-a-roni, Webb can hold his own-when he gets a word in edgewise.
If FLA went Webb and Larsen, well, they'd gain a TON of new listeners regularly. Harris should stick to the high school football season.
WWBA should go Markowsky in the a.m., and Captain Matt in the afternoons. ...and totally drop the Smerconish show; mediocrity at it's best. (No further west than Dayton, no further north than the Verazzano Bridge, and no further south than Baltimore...he just doesn't play.) ...and deep six the Fletcher show...pulllease...horible.
