car radio off wired to the Cigarette lighter

How would I go about doing this I have a car stereo at home and would like to start taking it on the road with me so I can listen to my radio stations I want How would I go about wiring it through the cigarette lighter of the car thanks in advance

You'll need to get a cigarette lighter adapter (about $2 at Wally World). Wire it to the +12V and ground connections on the radio. Just be sure the radio won't draw more current than the cigarette lighter adapter can provide.

The $2 Wally World plug referenced above is also fuse protected (5A max).
