In an article about Cardinals TV broadcasts moving shifting entirely to cable starting next season, there is a blurb at the very bottom regarding the future of the team's radio broadcasts:

"... a decision is expected soon regarding the team's radio rights. The games are on KTRS, but KMOX and WXOS are bidding."
Here's my question: Didn't the Cardinals buy KTRS simply so they can have their own outlet on which to air their games? I guess it wouldn't hurt to hear other stations' offers for the radio broadcasts, but if they end up moving to another station, the whole KTRS purchase seems like a farce.
