According to their own website, jammin1077.com, WWRX in New London has 4 hours
of Carribean style programming.

It starts at 8pm with some 2 hour carribean programming then its 2 hours of Reegaeton music.

I would never think that would fit on Jammin 107.7!

What's yur thoughts?

Reggaeton? No thanks! I HATE that stuff with a passion! :(

Then turn your dial to your favorite Elton John playing station KML0224.

Reggaeton might not be right for that station but it's good to try to focus some programming on the latino audience in the area.

I don't listen to Elton John (never have). What Clear Channel should've done in Hartford two years ago was flip 104.1 FM to Spanish. Put reggaeton on that type of station and I'd be cool with it. That type of music is the single biggest reason why I rarely ever listen to hip hop any more. Hell, I used to have on WQHT-FM 97.1 ("Hot 97") on in New York City all of the time. I almost never listen to them anymore either (for that reason).

With me, there's two types of music I won't listen to. (Country is the other.) People have the right to listen to these stations. I just don't want to be subjected to that music against my will.

Well to be honest with you Hot 97 doesn't really play that much Reggaeton at all now. I agree 104.1 should have switched to Spanish (Tropical), they would probably get better ratings than their current format.
