Dolly Parton's Husband of Nearly 60 Years, Carl Dean, Dies at Age 82

Dolly Parton has announced that her husband Carl Dean has died.
On Monday (March 3), the husband of the 79-year-old country music icon passed away at the age of 82 in Nashville, Tenn.
Following Carl‘s passing, Dolly released a brief statement mourning her mourning.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together. Words can’t do justice to the love we shared for over 60 years,” Dollyshared with The Associated Press. “Thank you for your prayers and sympathy.”
Dolly‘s publicist also told the outlet that Carl will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with immediate family in attendance.
If you didn’t know, Dolly and Carl met outside of the Wishy Washy Laundromat the day she moved to Nashville at 18. They married two years later on May 30, 1966 in a small ceremony.
