Carl Kanefsky left WDEL

Well Carl, with Channel 12's Delaware newscast going the way of the original WDEL-TV, it appears that radio news on both WDEL, WDOV, and WILM has been given a shot in the arm as being one of the few places left in Delaware to get Delaware news. The only other places left are the Wilmington News Journal and Dover's Delaware State News. Both are also struggling to hold on as their ad revenue apparently has dropped dramatically.

Delaware is a unique place, the only state without a commerical TV station or regularly scheduled airline service yet Wilmington is the 11th busiest train station in the nation. I keep waiting for the State of Maryland to want to annex Delaware as part of their Eastern Shore (we broke away from PA so there's no going back to them as the Lower 3 counties again).
