You might not hear as much about her because she wasn't on-air---she was sales and management---but she was a legend in Carlisle.

Flo Fisher, most recently GM at WIOO, and longtime sales goddess at WHYL as well as Kool 94.9, has passed on. Even though she was a tough competitor---I called her "a crafty old fox"---I liked Flo. When I was a know-it-all 18 year old jock in 1981 at WHYL, she was kind to me. She was still running WIOO at age 82 until a few months ago! My sympathies to the folks at WIOO--you folks have had a rough month with Curt Cleland and now Flo.

I worked with Flo a couple of times, the last time as creative director where Flo was one of several sales people. She was my favorite. Always kind, never condescending, and just very likeable. I can still see her smile. God bless you, Flo. Rest in Peace.
