Look at least here in San Francisco area there are other places to reach the city via Bart, Ferry, Golden Gate Bridge and San Mateo Bridge. I know this hype tends to stay in the bay area. Remember last year when the 405 Freeway from San Fernando Valley to Westwood in LA county got national hype. I thought that was over the top.
