Carolina Classic Hits

Hey Guys,

My Internet station is up and running now. You can listen to it in the radio station section of iTunes under 70's Retro. Also on TuneIn.com, Shoutcast.com for mobile phones, tablets and computers. The main website is CarolinaClassicHits.com and there's a Facebook page at Facebook.com/MyCarolinaClassicHits. It's fun to listen to and pretty much the way we did radio back in the 70's.

Check it out!

Rick

All that is on the website. Rick's put in quite a bit of time tweaking the playlist and rotation and shared the experience with all of us at the Radio Old Timers Meeting, the first Thursday of every month at J & S Cafeteria at NC 68 and Penny Road (1 PM).

I'm amazed how much better it sounds that stations that are getting paid to "sound professional" and this is where commercial radio dies as former radio professionals and amateurs are willing to do the work that corporations have destroyed.

That's right, Don. Many people all over the place have been asking so I posted it on the website. It's StationPlaylist and I'm using the Pro versions of both the Studio and the Creator modules. It's a very good and reasonably priced bundle and there is a Yahoo group forum for support. The guys at StationPlaylist are on the forum and the rest of the users on the group are quite helpful. I have had very few issues and could have avoided some of those by reading the manual first. What I like best is that there are very few limitations to the Studio module and you can push it pretty far along with you imagination. Creator is really good for the money although I'm doing some unusual things to get the music to rotate through dayparts.
