Carolla, anyone?

Any station going to be clearing his AM show come 2006? I know Stern never was here and Adam is his "replacement" but will he come to SLC? Any thoughts or ideas?

CBS Radio, the home of Adam Carolla and Free FM, doesn't own any stations in the Ogden-SLC-Provo market, so I doubt you will hear him anytime soon.

I'm not sure SLC would be a good place for Free FM either. With the current line-up of hosts, the content seems to lean heavily on the raw side. I could be wrong, but Leykis and others (Jillette, Rover, and The Junkies) probably wouldn't do well in an LDS dominated market.

On another talk related topic, I listened to KUTR's "Wakin' Up with Rebecca & Kurt." Now, I've been a fan of Bestor's music for sometime now, but I was pleasantly surprised to discover he is an equally good talk-show host.

That said, if you want good talk radio, you'll have to be satisfied with the current available content on the AM and FM dial. For now...anyhow.
