well boardopj thinks she's the number one fill-in host around. If so, what shift will she actually do?? will it be on whjj or wpro?? who will be her producer?? will she be an egomaniac like depetro or york? will boardopj be her number 1 caller?? will she have a signature saying?? listen, i am ready for some new blood on the airwaves so to speak... so let me hear everyone's suggestions on what would make this girl have a great show....

Kerri, I bekieve it is, would do fine in a 10-12 shift on WHJJ. I think she can handle 2 hours right now. Hjj needs something local in the morning.
They need to dump Jerry Springer.I don't hate Springer. But the 10-12 at least needs a local person and since there is no one else around give her a shot and lets see what happens.
I would nt sign her into a major agreement but lets see how she could handle the 10-12 shift.

Well considering we've only heard her on a couple of times, aren't these kind of difficult questions to answer? (And by the way I'm not the only one who has said she is good here!)

I would assume if she gets a show it would be on WHJJ. That said, I doubt they will even do that, considering the track record of that place. I don't know her personally, so I can't tell you if she's an egomaniac, she seemed nice enough the time that I met her. Does it really matter who her producer is? (And no I probably won't be her number one caller.)

If she keeps talking the way she does, (again, in just the couple of times I have heard her!!!!) and she gets the right amount of guidance, she will have a great show. But again, she is talent that needs to grow. Whether they can see that or not, is really anyone's guess. She seems real to me, I like the fire she has about her. Even just listening to her talk about the Red Sox on the Bee (trashing the Yankees really!) this morning, you could hear the potential there. But who knows. They seem to be in love with Howie Bart for some strange reason ...

Let me offer a little background on Keri............

We had the pleasure in the Worcester area to listen to Keri Rodrigues before she moved onto the Providence radio market. Although primarily utilized as the afternoon news anchor at WTAG-AM 580, Keri filled in for Sherman Whitman on the WTAG morning news which expands the role of the news anchor role to include talking about the issues and interaction with callers.

The few times that Keri filled in on the morning show, she was very articulate and quite knowledgeable about a variety of issues. There were a lot of calls generated and she was very entertaining to listen to especially with the more conservative Hank Stolz.

After filling in for Sherman, the station expanded Keri’s role on the afternoon news to include interview segments. In every interview that I heard, one could tell very quickly that she did her homework and was well prepared for the guest.

When (and I said when, not if) Keri finally gets the chance to host her own talk show, the station and the general public will be well served.

Rowr!!! Reel it in girlfriend!! Carrie/Kerry looks like she has her act together, a little egomaniacal, but don't all talk show hosts have to be these days.

I think Mr. Snerdley will move to the Carrie/Kerry show, Carrie/Kerry will wax philosophical on the liberal thoughts of the day. Dropkick that bore Depetro in the side of the head, and make him liven up. Carrie/Kerry's saying will be "half price salmon, a dollah twentee five pah!" She will promptly scream at her boardopj until he cries, walk out of the studio and post on radio info.

Yes boardopj will be the number one caller, with conventional wisdom and always sardonic wit.

Bring back Morning Sedition, Maron's a funny bastard.

well its good to see what everyone thinks... i hope for her sake you guys are right.. we could use a woman in the talk market instead of the same one that is around
