Hello All: I am in the process of restoring two cart machines. I'm looking for drive belts for a Tapecaster 700 and a Collins p-150. The 700 has two and it looks like the Collins has three. I may have an interest in other parts for these machines. Let me know what you have
Thanks in advance

Lou

We used to have the same problem with breaking rubber belts for our Otari 1000's. Found that a local industrial belt maker could easily duplicate the belt from an Otari original. Our market is about 150,000 people, but we have quite a number of industrial and mining operations.

If you are near a big industrial area, you might be able to find a similar type of service company that can duplicate your belts.

Has anyone dealt with Cartguys? We have about 10 cart machines. I would like to have one refurbished so we can transfer some old broadcasts to mp3s. It seems that every cart machine won't pull the tape after they've been setting for years. I guess that happens to all of them. The ITC machines seem to be the best.

I've never had them repair a deck, but I have purchased new cart tape from them. Having said that, old carts are known to suffer the infamous sticky shed syndrome. That could be your problem?
