What's going on at 106.7? According to their commercials, "Construction has begun at Casa 106.7" and they are saying that the morning show is no more. My guess is Big Boy is moving into the "Neighborhood".

English. It starts off with, "It was the best of times. It was the worst of times...."

Where are they running the commercials?

On the radio. It's usually the first commercial after each music set.

That's a promo, then. "Commercials" for the same station they run on are standardly called "promos" in the biz.

I love it when the focus of any discussion around here, turns into a debate over technicalities. ::)

Damn, when did they start doing a Tejano on Sunday mornings?

It's the return of KDL ;)

Casa 106.7....will keep it's format until no latins in DFW. If you want old KDL format..I think Movin' should add more KDL music.

DE is right...but, they're "commercials" to the listener.

Absolutely. PSA's and promos and paid spots are all perceived by the listener as commercials.

It's sometimes amusing that radio stations don't calculate this listener perception when they say "oh, we only run 12 minutes of spots an hour" when the fact is that the remote promo, the morning show promo, the PSA and whatever else really makes this about 15 minutes.

Man, aren't we technical!

Really... In the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter what we in the industry call each element. The listeners call all of it clutter.

What a low rated station will do to get listeners.... Same whack a$$ morning show on this morning. Where's the changes? It's time to foreclose on the Casa.
