Cascada "Everytime We Touch" Most requested on three NY area stations (WBLI, WHTZ WKTU) #2 on another (WSPK)

Cascada "Everytime We Touch" Most requested on three NY area stations (WBLI, WHTZ WKTU) #2 on another (WSPK)

Cascada's "Every Time We touch" is really taking off in the NYC area. On both NYC stations KTU & Z100 the song was #1 on their most requested countdown. The song was also #1 on CHR WBLI on Long Island's most reuested shoow, and was #2 on WSPK K104 in Poughkeepsie's most requested countdown (was #1 last night on K 104)
______________

They need to spead the lovin out from the 5 boroughs and into the rest of the states. This song is going to be a big hit, at least a top 10,,,, Some stations will be slow at adding it.... Former board member Aaron Tyler just added it, over at 92.7 Kiss fm in little oh Carbondale Illinois, He wanted me to mention that, since he can no longer post here...

The loving is out from the 5 boroughs, its on Long Island & the Hudson Valley as well with BLI & WSPK, though I do agree it needs to spread more across the country which I think it will.
______________

It was also added to Sirius Hits One.

Ugh, so many good dance tunes out there and it had to be this one? The only mainstream dance song I am not a fan of at all. Oh well, what's good for dance music is good for dance music!

I think this could easily be a Top 30 on CHR/Pop. Higher then that I'm not sure.

exactly!

I think people are sick of hearing old songs all day. They add just one new song and it takes off. Look at hip hop- new songs get played constantly while KTU's playlist is stale...

This reminds me of WMC back in 98/99. Back then music directors at the panel always said the same thing - we cant play instrumental dance songs, we need vocals!

Fast forward a couple of years after that til now and theres been SO many good vocals to come out and they havent supported any of the "real" house/dance "scene" hits...

Thats like Hot 97 not playing any 50 cent or Biggie.

They can complain about how hip hop has taken over but they should realize theyre the reason dance isnt popular here.

ok, rant over... sometimes you just gotta let it out.

Re: Southern New England as well!

WFHN Fun 107 and WXKS Boston Kiss 108

plus fun 107 is playing the remix of Natasha Beddingfield-Unwritten as well as shakira's dance mix of her latest and not to forget DHT's latest...i wish more CHR's across the country were programmed like this Citadel Station...i think they actually play more current dance than KTU hehe

Need some more stations in Florida playing this song. It was just added at WVYB in Daytona Beach, but the big stations like WXXL, WHYI, WFLZ, WAPE haven't picked it up yet
Edited by chrisorlando on 12/16/05 03:20 PM.

It was #1 on XM's BPM in September and October and they are still playing it. You don't get any more "rest of the states" than that.

You duplicated a couple stations on this list. Just edited them.

This is good news. I wouldn't be surprised if this track spread to the Rhythmic area.
