Cascada on Wired 96.5

nd2023

This morning, I put on 96.5 and heard a great surprise: Everytime We Touch was on 96.5! It was the first dance song I heard on Wired since last summer's Crazy Frog. Keep it up!
______________

Q102 has been playing that song since December and has 768 spins on it.

i noticed that wired is bringing in more mainstream. why not stick with something instead of constantly changing stuff around. if you're a rhythmic CHR be one.

James Blunt? Q doesn't even play that yet.

I can't figure Wired out. I love the new imaging and the new voice guy (Who is that anyway?), but it's pure CHR not Rhythmic. I also don't get why they added all the non-Rhythmic stuff during the "podcasting" thing, only to drop it when the new PD came in, and re-add it again a couple weeks ago. More than anything they just need consistency.

Radio-Locator and other web page list Wired as a Hip hop Station http://radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/locate?select=city&city=philadelphia&state=pa&sid=&x=12&y=10
______________

I'm not sure I get why radio-locator's obvious mis-categorization of Wired is being used as evidence here. Anyone who listens to the station--and who understands what the Hip-Hop format is--could tell you in less than a quarter-hour that Wired is definitely not a Hip-Hop station.

WRDW is a Rhythmic Top 40 reporter in Billboard Radio Monitor, but then again you also have Rhythmics like WAJZ/Albany(NY), KLUC/Las Vegas, KGGI/Riverside and WBBM/Chicago also flirting with Dance and non-Rhythmic tracks so this is nothing new.
