XM's "American Top 40" weekly replay last weekend, dated July 1979, mentioned "KFJZ-Dallas Fort Worth, Texas." First mention I've heard of any former DFW affiliate since they or KLUV started the AT40 replays. Of course, he was talking about KFJZ-1270 AM, not 97.1.

That's fun. In 1979 I was likely listening to American Top 40 on KFJZ 1270. My recollection is that it was on Sunday afternoons.
