Casey Kasem the80s

The day I cancel my last XM radio sub is the day AT40 (the 70's) goes off - I'll keep it until then. I've cancelled all my subs but one = just for AT40 on 70's and "Escape".

In Ohio I can get AT40 the 70's on two FM stations unedited unlike XM. I can listen on to it on Saturday and Sunday mornings, Sunday night and Tuesday night. Both of these stations stream on the net:

WMJI (Majic 105.7 Cleveland) http://www.wmji.com/

WBBG (Big 106.1 Youngstown/Warren) http://www.wbbgfm.com/

Majic 105.7 also has an all 70's Sunday and I hear songs on there that I haven't heard on XM since the merger.

First of all, what city does Magic 105.7 come out of and on XM they play the year of 79 and late 78 sometimes unlike the regular radio stations. I wish they would all they have to do is edit it so they take out the extras and the dedications to they can leave that year with the 70s and get 3 hours or put it with the 80s. They don't play 89 at all since that is the year he left. They could of left 89 in there and played up to before he left

Casey left in the Summer of '88 and I believe Xm's contract only included Casey hosed AT40

As for the late '78/'79 shows on regular FM radio, those shows aren't included by Premiere Radio (who syndicates AT40 70s and 80s) because in October '78 the show expanded from 3 to 4 hours and Premiere only syndicates the 3 hour version

The logictech squeezebox can give you a schedule for every radio station that lists AT Top 40 70's & 80's on when there scheduled on what radio schedule. Of course you have to go to radio time which is compatible with the SB. Just set the pre-sets and you got it. Maybe as much as 10 times a day or weekends, whatever your fancy.
