Here's a treat -

Most of us have heard the legendary Casey Kasem meltdown about the "effin' dog dying"....but have you actually heard the completed Long Distance Dedication, as it aired on September 14, 1985?

Here it is, along with the whole story and the outtake that started it all!

This was originally aired on KFAI - Minneapolis on July 18, 2008 during Ron Boogiemonster Gerber's "Crap From The Past" show which airs Friday nights at 10:30pm CT at www.kfai.org

If you like late 70's, 80's 90's pop music, quirky versions of the hits, depth and extreme musicology, you'll love this show.

You'll get a good idea of what CFTP is all about if you view the archived playlists from the 10+ year history of the show.

Crap From The Past is a great show.

Honestly, Ron "Boogie Monster" Gerber should be on Sirius XM (wow, that's weird to say). His knowledge and love of lost classic 70s/80s/90s pop is unsurpassed.
