I think 640 Toronto may drop by for a short visit, but I'm not sure.
I also wonder...who are they "betting" on being the bigger crowd?
The Leafs fan or the Sabres fan?
What happens when its Leafs vs. Sabres? Who broadcasts live from there then?
610 or...?

Also...who from 97.7 was broadcasting from the "New" Casino Niagara?

-If they did, they werent part of the 'regular' line up.

> The Leafs fan or the Sabres fan?
-Well, they win either way !!

> What happens when its Leafs vs. Sabres? Who broadcasts live

-Most likely, it will be Both the MSG and the CBC coverage.
although, may feel 'pressure' just to aire the cbc tv coverage.
As far as during the game, the broadcasts, i have noticed
(when i have been there ) have been 'more late nite' / the post
game crowd.

Dont know faces, only voices..but it is a regular sat. nite gig.
it is actually called

"Saturday's Night-live"
(changing that ever-so-slightly, to avoid copyright infringement
from the famous SNL tv show)...although, 93.3 WFLZ,tampa says
"Sat. Night -live"to air all the time..soo i think 97.7 would be ok,
just playing it safe i guess.

Saddened. It's depressing that the world's new form of entertainment is a set of games in which you're sure to lose, after all, the house always wins. If you're into gambling, I always liked the "mystique" and inherently unique cheesiness of Las Vegas. Why should that atmosphere be replicated poorly everywhere you go?

I can't believe I'm sitting here in Buffalo. The only town where you can have a good time without enjoying yourself.

Think of it this way:

At least it's good to have radio personalities there to make the spending apear to be less than it would if the radio announcers were to be broadcasting live from a bar somewhere that constantly says "Buy something or get out!"

At Casino Niagara, they don't say "GAMBLE OR GET OUT!" You're allowed to wander the place freely. <P ID="signature">______________

It may interest you to know that it's no fun to broadcast from Casino Niagara (or Fallsview I'm betting) because of the incredible restrictions placed on the broadcvast team who, while they're on campus are considered employees of the casino and therefore are treated like employees: they can't even go to the washroom without a security guard escort!

...testimonies from ACTUAL PEOPLE who have done it says
Otherwise.

And you think I made that statement based on conjecture? According to one person I know who has been there broadcasting on multiple occasions he would never go back if he had the choice.

Studio? They have a studio now? The last time I was there for a broadcast it happened from the lobby!
