Cat Country 98.7 - WYCT Pensacola translator

Does anyone know if the 106.5 translator in Milton is on the air? Why would WYCT need (or want) a translator there? Are they hoping to use it for WNRP-AM? Any info at all on this?

i agree that is stupid. their pattern covers milton.

where im originally from, there were several translators covering each sector of the city.

I can think of one similar (or better) than that: Mobile's WBHY-FM "Power 88.1" has approval for a Daphne translator at 103.5. 'BHY's tower is in Baldwin County.

Are they thinking by putting up a translator they can cover more audience?

We have a 94.5 (why they put it there is beyond me) NPR that comes in half of the time - the rest it's the PCB 94.5

The station is from the capitol (panama city 100KW translator) NPR.
