CAT COUNTRY THE GO-TO STATION DURING IRENE

From All Access:

Radio stations in the path of HURRICANE IRENE are bracing for the worst and preparing to do what they can to keep the public informed, WCTK is preparing to air continuous live coverage. The station has contacted local officials to set up an "Information pipeline" and the station will be fully staffed throughout the weekend. More here: http://www.allaccess.com/net-news#95706

I'm sure WPRO-AM will have coverage as well - Doubtful on most of the others. Thoughts?

I can't speak for Providence, but in Hartford/New Haven CC was live and local. Courtney from the KISS 995.7 morning show was on taking calls after 7AM. Country 92.5 was taking calls. The River 105.9 had their weekdays jocks on taking calls. Later playing music and still taking calls. KC-101 was simulcasting their news-talk sister station WELI which had a local host on taking calls until 2PM. ESPN 1410/1300 were simulcasting NBC 30 until the time The Yankees game started.
