CAT COUNTRY

What is the programming theroy behind Cat Country? I often here song to song, with no imaging, no jock, nothing. Also songs that have long since died are still in what appears to be power, not unlike the classic CC model.

It almost seems like there is no focus on the station. Even when there is a jock, it is not compelling radio. It amazes me that BOB (at the time) didnt hand them their hat in the fall book.

Just Keepin an eye on Radio

Cat Country used to pack a lot of sizzle and relevance. They actually did great promotions, concerts, and was a huge force to be reckoned with. Pamal has ran this property into the holy ground. It's just a country jukebox, horrible voice tracking, and commercials. We hear rumbles that advertisers are easily forgetting about this once mighty little powerhouse.
