Add ABC Radio Networks to that list; he worked on the Country Coast to Coast format there...

GAWD he had an ego a mile wide....(and his butt was getting there quickly too).....Almost got into a fistfight with him once.....(of course flipping the middle finger at him while it moved in a circle didnt help any...but I just couldnt resist!! His mic was open and I figured it was as good a time as any to enjoy the reaction

I've known Jim for several years and consider him a good friend. I wish him good luck anywhere he lands. He be good people as far as I'm concerned.

FYI...I was at ABC RADIO NETWORKS 8 years. 7 of those in Morning Drive. Certaintly longer than CW (Chris Boone) however i won't stoop to your level Chris and post negative things. 3 years in Birmingham, 5 years in San Antonio. 3 years in Houston and #1 ratings at every station. It may not be the longest record but it certaintly isn't what you describe.

I've been in this business 30+ years. I have made many friends and many enemies and made many mistakes, That's radio. However i'm willing to bet unlike the Anonymous posters slamming me i've learned a lot and i'm trying to correct my faults. With God's support i think i will make that change successfully.

To the haters who hate out of jealousness, envy, arrogance, ignorance, anger slam everyone..i say stop. Tomorrow is another day. You can change. Good Luck.

Zack: Hope all is well with you. I've been at 101.9 The Wolf doing afternoons the last few months. Love it here! It's a battle. Some of the best radio i've heard in a long time is right here in Sacramento! We have a hell of a line-up here at the Wolf. Bob McNeill is the PD and is one sharp cookie. He's an old pro who knows how to do radio big time!

I have also heard all the negative spill on Jim and all I can say is as far as I'm concerned he's a good dude. He is a talented air personality who "gets it". The problem with talent like that is sometimes they are surrounded by or work for people who don't "get it". Does he raise hell when things aren't right, does he put his opinion in at times when it goes against the grain? Yep, but I don't think it was ever in any form in an effort to derail the product, only an attempt to make things better. Unfortunately, some don't take kindly to being challenged and this can rub things the wrong way. That may sound like an excuse but, again, I think he has always been concerned only about the product, and I'd have a hard time finding wrong in that.

Beyond that, he is a human being just like you and I, capable of errors in judgement or actions at times. Until you are ready to prove your own personal perfection, why such negativity?[EDIT]

I have recommended him a few times to anyone who's asked, and would again.
