Hmmm, this is interesting...
Let's take a look at Mix's behavior over the past several weeks:
- dropping the "classic dance" tagline
- calling themselves "New York's Classic Hits"
- adding more gold-based hits and AC into the music selection
- dropping the morning team
Sounds like something is up over at Mix. IF they were smart (and that's a big IF), they would flip to a soft AC format competing with Lite FM. With Lite's recent flip to all Christmas music until Dec 26th and the addition of Delilah (which so many people seem to hate), Mix is in a prime position to fill in gap Lite is leaving behind. Do they even realize the potential here?
