Between the playoffs on the corner of Ontario and Carnegie, and the circus on the lakefront (soon to be Brook Park), Cavs season kinda snuck up on us.
But since the tall guys in the (kinda) short pants are about to tip off, here's a list of where to find them on the radio and TV dials, and who will be behind the mics.
On the radio, they will be on longtime flagships WTAM 1100/106.9 and WMMS 100.7 in Cleveland, along with erstwhile affiliates WAKR 1490/93.5 in Akron, WHBC 1480 in Canton, WEOL 930/100.3 in Elyria/Lorain, and WLEC 1450/93.5 in Sandusky/Vacationland.
Tim Alcorn will be on the call alongside former Cav Jim Chones, with WTAM morning host/sports director Mike Snyder and former Buckeye/former NBAer/current Warrensville Heights mayor Brad Sellers on pregame/halftime/postgame duty.
The team is cutting back on it's Spanish broadcasts from previous years, with only 13 home games being aired, and they won't be on the radio but online on the Cavs app, with longtime Spanish voice Rafa Hernandez Brito on the call.
TV-wise, they will be on the formerly Bally, now FanDuel Sports Ohio with play by play man John Micheal, alternating analysts Austin Carr and Brad Daugherty (both Cavs legends), and Serena Winters on the sidelines. Cayleigh Griffin is the pregame/halftime/postgame host, and will be joined by former Cav Daniel "Boobie" Gibson when Carr is calling the game, or Carr when Daugherty is calling the game. (former Cav and longtime pre/post/halftime host Campy Russell has retired).
Of course last year, the Cavs and WUAB CW 43 made a late season deal where 5 games were transferred over to 43. As of now, there are no games scheduled to air on WUAB, but as last year showed, things may change as we go along.
