Cavuto

Oddly, he used to annoy me. Have come to the realization that he may be the most honest and logical guy on TV. His questions put the spin artists on their toes. They keep spinning and Cavuto doesn't buy in.

Neil Cavuto, to me, looks like the human equivalent of Pablo from "The Backyardigans." You don't believe me? Google Image for yourself.

I hate to tell him, but somebody needs to make sure he has a Costco-size package of cough drops at ALL times. Or maybe gallons of warm-to-hot honey-lemon tea. When the local Fox station's 9pm news shows the 'Your World' biz report segment, at least half the time he sounds like he's been in a screaming match with Kim Carnes or something. I don't remember him being like that back when he was anchoring Business Center on CNBC years and years ago. Murdoch's business network isn't available on my TV so I don't get to sample Cavuto's other work.

Before you get too rough with him, Neil Cavuto has multiple sclerosis (MS) which can be very debilitating and is the cause for his sometimes raspy voice. He's fought it valiantly without complaint, but that's why he sounds different sometimes.

I must add that he's also a cancer survivor - he fought off stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma about 20 years ago. Quite a guy, actually.

I didn't know anything about him on a personal level, and certainly didn't know there were real health issues involved (other than maybe allergies or something similar). Thanx, BRNout, the update is appreciated.
