CBC Radio 2 To Begin Airing Commercials?

I read this and my blood ran cold......It's a pretty slippery slope because once advertising is accepted, the homogenization towards the same stuff you hear everywhere else begins......
 
Because we can hear the CBC on 690, or North of Seattle, 88.1, 88.9 [French], 92.1, and 105.7. And we have a few NW WA members here [like Bongwater].
