CBS 5 Eye On The Bay

Boo-hoo. I said it about 7 Live and I think it applies here. In an era when most viewers have hundreds of choices, including cable channels with these kind of feature filled life-style type shows, not to mention On Demand and all the stuff filling up your DVR, I would think it would be increasingly hard to attract viewers to these locally produced shows in the afternoon and early evening.

It's too bad in a way, because these shows ARE locally produced, talk about the Bay Area and employ local workforce. But personally, I almost never watch these shows, and I have a feeling I'm in the majority.

Also I noticed KGO-AM would insert 2-3 minute segments of life-style type shows by borrowing a member of the KFOG staff to appear on 810 during their PM Newscasts.
