I've had a big question in my head for the past several months since CBS launched AMP Radio on 97.1 in Los Angeles. AMP Radio and the AMP Radio brand is very successful in LA, why not try the brand in other cities? What I kinda saw when AMP was launched was CBS's response to the KISS FM brand that Clear Channel owns in most cities, but instead of launching AMP in New York, they launch NOW in NY. Why did CBS launch two similar stations with different names when one had a more creative and innovative brand and the other one had a eh...whatever kind of brand?
