CBS Atlanta expands with 5pm News

As previously reported CBS Atlanta will bring back the 5pm newshour on August 30th. They will keep the 4pm newshour that replaced the 5pm news a while. This means CBS Atlanta is all news from 4 to 7pm (Katie Couric at 6:30).

The People's Court moves to 9am and the 700 Club moves to channel 36 at the same time.

No official word on how the anchor teams will line up. I am sure Stephany will not anchor the entire 2 and half non-stop hours.
 
I think all the locals are turning into news whores. The 4:30 news is just a repeat of the 4:00 news. The 5:00 a repeat of the 4:30, etc. etc. etc. How could anyone watch the same 10 storys 5 times in a 3 hour period without jumping out the window?
